Brilliant room and staff is always good.
The venue has stunning and brilliant location to avoid the crowds that congregate close the lake. It's close enough to the main restaurant, Ambleside and Windermere after a 4 hour drive for a long weekend.

The hotel was reasonably priced and lovely cosy and placed in a historic-style building. Our room was beautifully decorated and brand-new with a beautiful interior and the staff were amazingly attentive. We appreciated main facilities and soundproof windows. The service was very good, the food was good. Moreover, there was a private parking. The location was tranquil for traveling around Bowness-on-Windermere, so close to the restaurant the following night, and the tourist spots of windermere.

The rooms were brand-new and pet-friendly, the staff was very amiable. Main facilities and soundproof windows were great. It was in a perfect and tranquil location short walk to the centre of Windermere or Ambleside and surrounding lakes and other places.

It's a charming and great hotel with excellent services for travelling to Bowness-on-Windermere. All the staff members are good and informative. The property boasts remote location to a huge dining area which felt like we were eating alone.

The value for money at Wild Boar was excellent, and the room was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, set in a beautiful setting with a great bar. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, especially towards our two small dogs.
